American Nurses Association (ANA): The Foundation was created as the philanthropic arm of the American Nurses Association. Recent collaboration include the Foundation’s support of the 2012 Healthy Nurse Conference and the new Leadership Institute.
American Academy of Nursing (AAN): Each year the Foundation supports the IOM AAN/ANA/American Nurses Foundation Scholar. This year’s Scholar is Beatrice Kalisch.
American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC): ANCC created an endowed fund at the Foundation, the Margretta Madden Styles Credentialing Research Fund, named for a past president of the ANCC. The grant funds research on the impact of credentialing programs in nursing for patients, nurses, and healthcare organizations. Credentialing programs of interest include certification, accreditation, and recognition programs such as the Magnet Recognition Program® and the Pathway to Excellence Program®. ANCC contributes proceeds from its programs each year to the Fund.
Institute of Medicine: Each year the Foundation supports the IOM AAN/ANA/American Nurses Foundation Scholar. The 2013/2014 Scholar is Beatrice Kalisch, PhD, RN, FAAN. The 2012/2013 Scholar was Marla Salmon, ScD, RN, FAAN

Nursing Research Societies: The American Nurses Foundation partners with the Western Institute for Nursing, the Eastern Nursing Research Society, the Midwest Nursing Research Society, and the Southern Nursing Research Society to support an annual research grant. Constituent and State Nurse Associations: The American Nurses Foundation has partnered with the constituent and state nurses associations to raise funds for and awareness of nursing.
Veterans Affairs: The American Nurses Foundation is an active supporter of the Joining Forces Initiative in collaboration with the VA’s Office of Nursing Services.
